Therefore, alongside the standard SSL encryption, we set global standards which have been specially designed for the settlement of payments online and are outlined by the main credit card companies MasterCard and Visa. Verified by VISA and MasterCard SecureCode. We set the rules and certifications for credit card companies and strictly control their compliance to these.

PCI
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is one of the leading credit card companies which sets the standards and helps all members to ensure increased security.
Certification from an independent authority is a prerequisite.

Wirecard CEE is the first Austrian Payment Service Provider that has been strictly certified by the PCI DSS. The certification was carried out by the SRC Security Research & Consulting GmbH.
