Energie Steiermark is the sales subsidiary of Styria’s regional energy utility company. Among the core activities of Energie Steiermark is the sale of electricity, gas and district heating. The product portfolio includes end-to-end solutions for renewable energy, electromobility, Internet and Smart Home. All products of Energie Steiermark, among them the Smart Home solution “homee”, are available exclusively online. 

As the Internet has no national borders, the company has expanded its sales activities far beyond the Austrian borders. The implementation of a suitable payment solution to meet the requirements arising from this sales strategy was of great importance.
