A kingdom made of cardboard
Intelligent complete packages are increasingly replacing separate offers of products and associated services.
Current digital solutions for customer management affect not only the industry, but all company sizes, and this is reflected particularly in the fact that the newly established trading companies have an online shop as their primary distribution channel. In the area of customer support, individual, service-oriented service packages are used to solve the majority of separately organized processes of product offerings and services.
With "the thinKing" start-up, everything began with the intention of a new apartment as cost-saving as possible. Alexander Mann did not want to do without individuality, style and environment-friendly materials, and this was the reason he produced inexpensive and environmentally friendly furniture himself - and this was the breeding ground for the founding of "thethinKing", an online shop for furniture made of cardboard.
Addition to a clear product range
Together with a team made up of creative lateral thinkers, the stool "thinSeat" was created, the first series-produced piece of furniture. The challenge was to manufacture a light yet sturdy construction, which can be put together in a few steps without tools or adhesives. Each thinSeat can also be customized according to your own ideas by means of a designer app. The chair is not only unique in the domestic living room, but also companies can design their brand message, for example at trade fair appearances.
In addition to a clear product range, a simple and secure organization of commercial processes was an essential criterion for this online shop. Together with the Wirecard CEE payment service provider, a so-called checkout solution was integrated. "The payment solution we use offers a tremendous alleviation of the amount of work for our on-line shop. With just one click, we can read out all payments and transactions and forward them to the accountant" Alexander said. "So I have more time for the essentials: Designing exceptional furniture."
